Collecting and analyzing information on international trends in heritage conservation systems and measures across various countries and organizations is essential for laying the groundwork for international cooperation projects and for shaping the future of our own heritage conservation framework. Hosting academic meetings and capacity-building activities in collaboration with heritage conservation experts and organizations is also important not only in promoting active information exchange and expanding international cooperation networks, but also in enhancing our country's global presence as a culturally driven nation.

We actively participate in various international meetings, including the World Heritage Convention organized by UNESCO, to study current issues in the field of heritage conservation. Furthermore, we continuously work to strengthen international cooperation networks by organizing seminars, symposiums, and training programs through the coordination of experts and research institutions both within and outside Japan.
