The 4th Western Art Foundation for Promotion Award Recipients Announced

The recipients of the 4th Western Art Foundation for Promotion Award, which publicly honors individuals and institutions involved in curating exhibitions that have contributed to the understanding of Western art and academic research in the field of Western art, were announced. The Academic Award for Individuals was awarded to SHINBATA Yasuhide (for his curation of the exhibition titled ‘Homage to Cézanne: His Influence on the Development of Twentieth Century Painting’, held at the Yokohama Museum of Art) and TSUCHIDA Ruriko (for her curation of the exhibition titled ‘Gallé and Japonisme’, held at the Suntory Museum of Art).
