The 7^th Higashiyama Kaii Memorial Nikkei Nihonga Award Announced

AZAMI Takako’s painting titled ‘Sakuragi yōgo zu’ was selected as the 7^th Higashiyama Kaii Memorial Nikkei Nihonga Award, which was established to honor the achievements of nihonga artist, HIGASHIYAMA Kaii, and to recognize the next generation of nihonga artists. The exhibition featuring these works along with other selected paintings was held at the Ueno Royal Museum from May 18 to 28. (Japanese)
