Report on Important Tangible Folk Cultural Properties Designation Submitted

On January 16, the Council for Cultural Affairs (Commissioner: ISHIZAWA Yoshiaki) submitted a report on one asset of ‘votive tables of child-rearing prayers’, dedicated to Miyake Hachiman shrine in Kyoto City, to be designated as an Important Tangible Folk Cultural Property to SHIONOYA Ryū, Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. This brought the total number of Important Tangible Folk Cultural Properties to 207.
