研究会「バーレーン考古学最前線（2026）」

開催趣旨

このたび、中東・バーレーンよりサルマン・アル＝マハリ博士（バーレーン文化古物局考古局長）をお招きし、研究会「バーレーン考古学最前線（2026）」を開催いたします。
バーレーンでは、長年にわたり日本の調査団が発掘調査を実施し、ディルムン文明やティロス文明の解明に大きく貢献してきました。

本研究会では、サルマン・アル＝マハリ博士に、バーレーンにおける最新の考古学調査の成果をはじめ、遺跡の保存や史跡整備の現状についてご講演いただきます。また、バーレーンでの調査・研究に携わる日本の研究者や大学院生が、最新の発掘調査成果や研究成果について発表いたします。
