These three past research projects enabledthe dissemination of knowledge and information amongspecialists in the different fields on the present statusand related issues. Additionally, a common foundationfor discussions to a certain level was established onpreservation of brick masonry structures among specialistsand practitioners. On the other hand, in the two reports titled“Studies onMaterial Characteristics with Damaging Effects on Stoneand Brick Masonry Structures”and“A Report on Studiesregarding Preventive Measures for Brick Deteriorationauthor or editor title yearTokyo National Research Institute for Cultural Properties東京国立文化財研究所(編)Takeshi Ishizaki (principal researcher)石崎武志(研究代表者)Japan Center for International Cooperation inConservation, National Research Institute for CulturalProperties, Tokyo東京文化財研究所国際文化財保存修復協力センター(編)National Research Institute for Cultural Properties, Tokyo東京文化財研究所(編)Japan Center for International Cooperation inConservation, National Research Institute for CulturalProperties, Tokyo東京文化財研究所国際文化財保存修復協力センター(編)Preservation and Restoration of Brick Masonry CulturalPropertiesレンガ造文化財の保存修復Studies on Material Characteristics with Damaging Effects onStone and Brick Masonry Structures石造、レンガ建造物の劣化に関わる材料物性の研究Preservation of Sun-Dried Brick Structures日干し煉瓦の保存Human Technologies to be Passed Down to the Future 5,Conservation of Large Scale Structures未来につなぐ人類の技5大型構造物の保存と修復A Report on Studies regarding Preventive Measures for BrickDeterioration for Preservation of Cultural Properties文化財の保存を目的としたレンガの劣化現象と保存対策に関する調査・研究成果報告書20002001200520062006chart 1Reports on bricks published by Tokyo National Research Institute for Cultural Properties6Chapter 1The Aim and Role of this Research
