The above four topics werekept in mind in organizing essential information that couldbe used for successful management and preservation bythose in charge of protection of cultural properties, as wellas for choosing this extensive range of examples that couldbe used as reference in studying directions and methodsfor preservation. Of the four themes, not many examplespertaining to“specifications for pointing”and“protectionfrom water and humidity”could be collected and thus, thistopic remains as a future issue to be dealt with.Our future assignment is to study whether the outcomesreported in this publication are effective in actualpreservation and restoration practices of brick masonrystructures.
