33rd International Symposium on the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Property Restoration of Japanese Paintings - Advanced Technology and Traditional Techniques -

Statement of Intent	Traditional restoration techniques, which are an intangible cultural property in themselves, for Japanese paintings will be discussed from diverse points of view, including materials and processes. New attempts will be examined and the situation of the restoration of Japanese paintings throughout the world will be studied. It is hoped that by sharing knowledge, the preservation and utilization of Japanese paintings will be promoted.
Participation Procedures	※Closed Participants need to register in advance. Registration form can be downloaded from the web site of the Institute. (Microsoft Word / PDF) Please submit the completed form by mail, fax or e-mail to the secretariat. The deadline for registration is October 18.
