The Center contributes for establishing for future international cooperative activities by organizing meetings/conferences/workshops. It collects and disseminates information concerning cultural property, cultural property conservation and international cooperation at the time of the meetings. |
Conference on International Cooperation on Conservation
The Conference provides a venue for the investigation of issues concerning conservation activities in various countries through the presentation of reports and discussions.

Seminar on Conservation of Asian Cultural Heritage
Reports and discussion are made by Asian experts including Japan about the current situation and problems concerning conservation of cultural property in Asia.

The workshops are held irregularly at the time the Center invites foreign researchers for comparative study .

International Symposium on the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Property
The Institute has been holding the Symposium annually since 1977. The theme for the fiscal year 2010, which will be held from 19 - 21 January 2011, will be “ “Reconstruction Process” and Cultural Heritage”.
