Collection and transmission of information

This center has so far gathered a variety of information abroad and used them for researches, workshops, and seminars. Such information and surveys are published and also presented on our website. To understand how other countries protect their cultural heritages, we are now especially studying legal facets of such protection throughout the world.

The center has been conducting classification of the collected documentation and open to the public at the Center’s library. It also manages the library of Dr. SEKINO Masaru and Dr. CHIHARA Daigoro who were the Japanese pioneers of international cooperative work for protection of cultural heritage.
