The Center has been conducting comparative research on the public system including laws and regulations, organizations for protection of cultural property in European countries. We conduct research on statutes themselves literally, but it is impossible to understand how the system is actually used for the conservation of cultural property in these countries. Therefore, interview with specialists in the field of conservation and inspection of cultural property is the major element of this research.
